A resident of Fayston Street and semipro football player for the Boston Bandits, Lloyd is killed in an industrial park in North Attleboro New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez, 24, is arrested for his murder on June 26, 2013, and, after a trial in Fall River, convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to life in prison without parole on April 15, 2015. “Aaron Hernandez may have been a well-known New England Patriots football player,” says district attorney Thomas Quinn after the verdict is delivered. “However, in the end, the jury found that he was just a man who committed a brutal murder.”
